Fenced in pool in back yard. Pool is only guaranteed to be open June - September due to water temperatures. Driving or getting an Uber is the best way of experiencing the picturesque area. This agreement outlines important details about your stay, including house rules, check-in/check-out procedures, and other essential information. ★ HISTORIC HOME & TEMPERATURE NOTICE ★ During periods of extreme temperatures, please keep in mind that the house was built in the 1830s. While it does have central heating and air, we kindly ask for your understanding that indoor temperatures may be slightly uncomfortable at times due to the home’s historic construction. ★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★ Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. ★ PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY ★ Bring your furry friends along for an exciting vacation. Please leash pets and clean up after them when outdoors to be mindful of other guests. ★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★ Smoking inside the home is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of smoking will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees. ★ NO PARTIES / EVENTS ★ We kindly ask that you treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests. Please respect quiet hours after 9:00 PM. ★ EARLY CHECK-INS / LATE CHECK-OUTS ★ Subject to availability, early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated at $20 per hour (one-hour minimum). Please reach out as soon as possible for availability. ★ POOL ★ The pool is seasonal and may be closed at certain times of the year. It is fenced and located in the backyard. Pool access is only guaranteed May–September due to water temperatures. The pool is 4 feet deep throughout—no diving permitted. Swim at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be accompanied at all times. ***Please note the pool area may be shared with guests in other listings on the property as there are 3 houses. Thank you very much for your understanding. ★ INTERACTION ★ You may see us or our maintenance team on-site periodically for routine tasks such as mowing, pool cleaning, or maintenance needs. ★ AGE REQUIREMENTS ★ The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age for an apartment and age 25 for a single family house. The primary booking guest is required to be present for the duration of the stay and is responsible for all guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules. Reservations made by guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement may be canceled prior to check-in or during the stay, without refund, if the age requirement is found to be misrepresented. This policy is in place for safety, insurance, and property protection purposes and is applied consistently to all guests.

We enjoyed the home and had a comfortable stay. However, communication with the host was disappointing. He promptly charged us when we added guests, but when our guest count decreased, we had to ask twice before the charge was adjusted. We also requested an iron that was missing from the home, but it was not delivered until two days later, after we no longer needed it. The home was nice, but the host’s responsiveness and customer service left room for improvement.

Millbrook is a beautiful historic property. The rooms are large and the beds were comfortable but it has not been kept as we had expected. Even with communications prior to booking & our arrival we were greeted with overgrown lawn & gardens, inoperable lighting on the staircase & all of upstairs, dirty & disheveled back patio, the pool gate was locked with a “pool closed” sign and the primary bathroom, kitchen & floors needed a good deep cleaning. Josh was quick to respond to messages and someone did fix the lighting & remove the pool closed sign while we were away. Josh messaged that his team reported the pool was open and available thru another gate. But, the pool was dirty, the water level was low, there was a water-hose in it and the gate from our porch remained locked. We were traveling with our grands so the play area, pool & yard were why I booked this higher price point property. None were available during our stay nor was any courtesy credit offered.
