THE SPACE There’s plenty of room to spread out across this large historic home, with **5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and space for up to 13 guests**. Enter through the large front door into a character-filled foyer. On the main floor, you’ll find a formal living room, dining room, full kitchen, and a large family room—giving your group multiple places to gather or enjoy their own space. Also on the main floor is **1 bedroom with an ensuite**, plus additional bathroom access. Head upstairs to a spacious landing leading to **4 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms**. Your group will also have: * Full kitchen * Washer + dryer * Multiple living and gathering spaces * On-site parking * Large front porch **5 bedrooms. 4 bathrooms. Up to 13 guests. One home base where everyone can stay together and still have room to breathe.** You'll have the whole house and both yards to yourselves. Park in the driveway on the left side of the home — it's shared with our neighbor, so please pull all the way over next to our house so there is room for them to get by. There is space for up to six vehicles. The front door has an electronic keypad lock, and your code is released in your digital guidebook once your rental agreement is signed, your check-in form is complete, and your balance is paid. Driving or taking an Uber is the best way to get around Montgomery. Our property is: → 4 min to the Alabama State Capitol → 5 min to Riverwalk Stadium → 7 min to Maxwell Air Force Base → 10 min to the Montgomery Zoo → 12 min to Montgomery Regional Airport → 13 min to The Shoppes at Eastchase Other Things to Note A few important details to know before booking: 📝 Rental Agreement Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete 🚗 Parking Parking is in the driveway on the left side of the home The driveway is shared with our neighbor — please pull all the way over next to our house so there is room for them to get by Space for up to six vehicles 🗑️ Trash The green bin is on the left side of the property, along the driveway City pickup runs twice a week Please bring the bin back the same day — it can't be left at the curb overnight ⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Every request has to be manually approved Check with us and we'll check with our cleaning company Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum Please request as early as possible At this home, early check-in and late checkout are limited and may not be available on all dates 🏡 During Your Stay Please treat the home and neighborhood with respect There is no staff on-site 24/7, but our team will respond as quickly as possible if you need assistance 📹 Security & Noise Monitoring Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property No cameras monitor any indoor area Exterior cameras may record audio and video An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom 🔑 Minimum Booking Age Because this property is a single-family home, the primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old The primary guest must be present throughout the stay The primary guest is responsible for their guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms

This house was the perfect location for my group of friends attending a wedding. Everywhere we went across Montgomery was at a maximum 10 minutes away by car, which was very convenient. The house is beautiful - it's definitely an older historic home, so there are areas that you have to be a little gentle with (creaky doors, sloped floors, etc.) but it's exactly as expected as an older home. The amenities were great and the space was exactly what we needed. Would stay again!

Josh’s place was very reasonable as far as pricing. Extremely spacious and in a great area. The listing mentioned it was in an historic neighborhood which I loved, however, the photos didn’t quite depict the actual space in my opinion. The house is very old and while there were some updates done in certain parts of the home 80% of it needed a lot of maintenance. From cracks in the walls to missing faucet fixtures. I can tell the house has a lot of history and at one time was absolutely beautiful and I even get the idea to maintain its historic/ antiquish like features, I just think that it should be preserved by way of restoration first so that the home doesn’t look so outdated. Similar to how museums do. My overall rating though would be a 3.5-4. The host is amazing and I can see the efforts in making the home comfortable.
