The pool is fenced and completely private to your rental—no shared spaces, no surprises. **Important pool details:** * No lifeguard on duty—guests swim at their own risk and assume all liability * Children must be supervised at all times * No diving or pets in the pool * Pool is cleaned weekly * Not heated—temperature depends entirely on weather (most public pools in Montgomery open late May, for reference) * Can be used anytime during your stay unless maintenance is scheduled The **fully fenced backyard** is a haven for your four-legged friends. Bring your dog and let them play safely while you relax outdoors. Outdoor furniture and dining areas make it easy to spend your whole day outside. A heads-up about the outdoor walkways: they're made from repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick, so take care, especially in wet conditions. Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside the house other than the locked supply closet. Guests staying during this period should plan for the pool to be closed and unavailable for use. 📝 Rental Agreement Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete 🏊 Pool Safety — please read before anyone gets in NEVER leave a child unattended near the pool, not even for a moment. Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children aged 1 to 4, and it happens quickly and quietly If a child goes missing, check the pool first No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk and assume all liability for pool use The pool is fenced, with a self-closing, self-latching gate. Please keep the gate closed and latched, and NEVER prop it open — a gate that doesn't latch is the single most common way a child reaches the water Life-saving equipment is at the pool: a ring buoy and a rescue hook on a pole. **This is emergency equipment, not pool toys.** Please make sure children understand they are not to play with it — the pole can puncture the pool liner, and damaged equipment is not there when someone actually needs it. Guests are responsible for damage caused by misuse Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings No diving No pets in the pool No visitors beyond the guests on your reservation No glass near the pool The pool is not heated and the water temperature depends on the weather — it is cleaned weekly and is not closed for a season, so you're welcome to use it any time during your stay Know the property address so you can direct emergency services if you ever need to 🚗 Parking Parking is in the driveway on the right side of the home 🚪 Getting In Entry is through the side door off the driveway, not the front door 🌳 Outdoor Space The backyard is fully fenced in — good space for pets 🗑️ Trash The trash can is on the side of the property, in the driveway City pickup runs twice a week Please bring the bin back the same day — it can't be left at the curb overnight ⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Every request has to be manually approved Check with us and we'll check with our cleaning company Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum Please request as early as possible ⚠️ Please Note Fireplaces are not for use This home has sliding barn doors — please be mindful of children playing around them There is a small step into the bathrooms — please watch your footing The outdoor walkways use repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick You will likely see a pool cleaning vendor or lawncare company during your stay 📹 Security & Noise Monitoring Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property No cameras monitor any indoor area Exterior cameras may record audio and video An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom 🔑 Minimum Booking Age Because this property is a single-family home, the primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old The primary guest must be present throughout the reservation The primary guest is responsible for their group, visitors, and compliance with house rules Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property. Upon arrival, we noticed a strong musty/mold-like odor but overlooked it because the home appeared cleaned. We initially saw an occasional roach, but later discovered numerous roaches throughout the house. The couch was also visibly dirty and unusable. I immediately reported the pest issue to Airbnb and contacted the host, who never responded. Overall, the pest, cleanliness, odor, and communication issues made for a very disappointing stay.
