Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom cottage in Capitol Heights! Built in 1937 and recently remodeled, this pet-friendly retreat features a king and queen bed, a fenced backyard, driveway parking for two vehicles, onsite laundry, and a cozy office space. Enjoy the perfect blend of vintage character and modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and inviting living areas. Located less than a mile from downtown Montgomery, book now and enjoy comfort, convenience, and timeless style today. Originally built in 1937, this home has recently been renovated with today's comforts while highlighting the elegance of a bygone era. You'll enter into the living room, full of natural light featuring a 55" Smart TV and seating for 5-6. Through the living room are both the dining rooms and kitchen while immediately to your left are the bedrooms and the bathroom. This is a fully stocked kitchen including stainless appliances and Keurig coffee machine. The master bedroom features a king bed as well as a Smart TV and sufficient storage. Inside the second bedroom is a queen and yet another TV with a large closet. The home features a washer and dryer as well as a full office with your dedicated remote workspace and overlooks the fenced-in back yard. Both kids and pets will enjoy their time in the back! Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside the house. This home has an electronic lock on the front door. Driving or taking an Uber is the best way to get around Montgomery. Our property is: → 3 min to the Alabama State Capitol → 4 min to Riverwalk Stadium → 6 min to the Montgomery Zoo → 6 min to Maxwell Air Force Base → 13 min to The Shoppes at Eastchase → 14 min to Montgomery Regional Airport We're excited to host you. Before you confirm your booking, please be aware that we require guests to sign a separate rental agreement as part of the booking process. This agreement outlines important details about your stay, including house rules, check-in/check-out procedures, and other essential information. Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. If available, the fee is $20.00 per hour (minimum of one hour). Please reach out as soon as possible if you’d like to request an extension. Security & Monitoring For the safety and security of our guests and the property, we have motion-activated cameras installed on the exterior areas only. These cameras record audio and video and monitor entrances, patios, and pool areas (if applicable). Additionally, we use a noise monitoring device inside the property. This device does not record audio or video but helps us ensure that noise levels remain respectful for neighbors. AGE REQUIREMENTS The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age for an apartment and age 25 for a single family house. The primary booking guest is required to be present for the duration of the stay and is responsible for all guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules. Reservations made by guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement may be canceled prior to check-in or during the stay, without refund, if the age requirement is found to be misrepresented. This policy is in place for safety, insurance, and property protection purposes and is applied consistently to all guests.

Upon arrival, we liked the space. A little dated and could use some touch ups but it’s cozy. We liked that it was close to downtown and the neighborhood seemed nice enough. Neighbors were friendly. The home was a little dusty and we hope the pests that we expressed concerns about are addressed timely. We would stay again if the pest issue is addressed. The backyard is a good size! Our dog loved it but was a little weary of the steps to get down to it. She managed well once she got used to them. Josh is a very responsive host and was quick and timely with addressing our concerns.
