Overall, the character of the home was really neat and fits to the district. The downfall was the photos on the listing portray a much cleaner and updated home and leave out any visuals of the damage and age of the home due to moisture When we arrived, we were not able to access the home and had to wait for someone to come fix the exterior front door automatic lock. The door lock continued to malfunction the day we left. Multiple dead bugs throughout the home. Not comfortable to walk around without shoes on. Intense humidity in the home and there was a damp odor throughout the home. Simple things like the sink faucet having hair on it, hair in multiple locations in the bathrooms, drips of some sort down the vanity were not cleaned before arrival. Air conditioner did not keep all rooms cool, fans had to be on to maintain comfort. While Josh was responsive, we didn’t bring up more issues as it would have likely been more of a problem to try and get things addressed.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. The home is lovely, and very conveniently located. The king size beds were comfortable as well as attractive. The bedding was an excellent quality as were the towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. If I return to Montgomery again, I will certainly book the same place.
