The house waits at the end of it, wrapped around the thing your whole trip will orbit: a private, fenced pool courtyard the home embraces on every side. Almost every room opens toward the water. The first living room — the heart of the house — looks straight through to the pool and dining room, so you can pour the coffee and still watch the cannonballs. Two large living rooms, each with its own TV, mean the game-on crowd and the quiet crowd never have to negotiate — and the game room just off the kitchen keeps the kids and grandkids happily busy for hours. The kitchen is the real headquarters for a group this size: built so several cooks can work at once without bumping elbows, with a table that seats 14 and more seating scattered through the house. Dinner spills straight out to the pool. And when one of you has to log in Monday, the workout room with a Peloton, a covered patio, and a tucked-away desk means you never miss the fun to do it. Everyone gets a real bed and room to breathe — eighteen of you, no one stacked on top of anyone. The main-floor primary suite has its own private patio and en-suite; across the covered portico, a private pool house with its own bath and living space gives someone a little extra room. It all sits on 5.5 private acres. You're welcome anywhere inside except one locked owner's supply closet. Park out front or around the right side by the carport. There is a small step up at both the front door and the pool house door. Check-in is contactless: the front door and pool house both have electronic keypad locks on the same code, so there are no keys to lose and everyone can come and go freely. The home sits on Montgomery's established east side, tucked among larger wooded estates on a quiet street — private and green, yet 15–20 minutes from downtown and just off the main corridors. • Shoppes at EastChase (dining & shopping) — minutes away • Baptist Medical Center East — about 5 minutes • Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) — under 10 minutes • Lagoon Park & Wind Creek Casino — about 15 min • Legacy Museum, the Riverwalk & Biscuits ballpark — about 18 minutes • Montgomery Zoo & Montgomery Whitewater rafting park — about 20 min • Maxwell Air Force Base — about 25 min • RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill, Prattville (three championship courses) — about 30 min north It's the rare large home in Montgomery proper — close to the museums, riverfront, ballpark, base, and Robert Trent Jones golf, not an hour out at the lake. Other Things to Note A few important details to know before booking: 🏊POOL: The pool is seasonal and closed from October through May 1st. Guests staying during this period should plan for the pool to be closed and unavailable for use. 📝 Rental Agreement Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete 🏊 Pool Safety — please read before anyone gets in NEVER leave a child unattended near the pool, not even for a moment. Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children aged 1 to 4, and it happens quickly and quietly No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk and assume all liability for pool use The pool sits in a gated courtyard. Please keep the gate closed and latched, and never prop it open Doors from the house open onto the pool courtyard and are fitted with audible alarms. Please do not disable them — they are there so an adult hears a child going out to the water Life-saving equipment is on hand at the pool: a ring buoy and a rescue hook. Please use them only in an emergency, and keep the hook and any poles away from the pool's liner Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings No diving No pets in the pool No visitors beyond the guests on your reservation No glass near the pool After dark the pool is not lit for swimming — please take extra care around the water at night The pool is not heated and the water temperature depends on the weather Know the property address so you can direct emergency services if you ever need to. If a child goes missing, check the pool first 🐾 Pets This home is not pet friendly Many of our other properties do welcome pets — just ask and we'll point you to one 🎉 No Parties, Gatherings or Events This is a quiet, established residential neighborhood Quiet hours begin around 9:00 PM — please keep outdoor noise down in the evening 🚗 Parking Long private driveway, most of it gravel Park out front, or around the right side of the house by the carport Plenty of room to park every car 🚪 Getting In Small step up at the front door, and at the pool house door Both doors have keypad locks and use the same code 🗑️ Trash The property's own green bin is at the end of the driveway Sanitation picks up twice a week If you roll it down to the road, please bring it back the same day — bins can't be left at the curb overnight ⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Because of the size of this home, early check-in and late checkout are NOT offered on same-day turnovers here On other dates every request is manually approved Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum Please request as early as possible 📹 Security & Noise Monitoring Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property No cameras monitor any indoor area Exterior cameras may record audio and video An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom 🔑 Minimum Booking Age Because this property is a single-family home, the primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old The primary guest must be present throughout the reservation The primary guest is responsible for their group, visitors, and compliance with house rules Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms

One of the bedrooms has bed bugs (we utilized two of the bedrooms so we don't know about the situation of the other bedrooms). We left the first morning of our stay due to the bed bug situation. The cleanliness of the property is concerning beyond the bed bug issue. There were dead bugs throughout the home, thick layers of dust, cobwebs, and stained towels. This was our experience with the property and we would not recommend it or stay here again.

The home was absolutely beautiful and inviting. We had a family reunion and Montgomery, Alabama and we were able to accommodate a nice large group. The house is located near several stores and restaurants. Wow also being in a quiet and serene area. The pool was a treat for the children and young adults. Great add on. Lots of space for everyone to have their own area. Beautiful home, great host, and lots of great memories.
